2021 programme

In normal (non-Covid-19) times our monthly meetings are held in Colmworth Village Hall, Church Road, Colmworth MK44 2JX on Fridays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm unless advised differently.

This year however, following Chris Walker’s talk back in November 2020 via Zoom, we have arranged the talks listed below which will also be presented remotely using Zoom:

Friday, 19th February – Dorothy Jamieson: “Willington and the Mowbrays: after the Peasants’ Revolt”

Friday, 19th March – Caroline Bacon: “Edward Bawden and Friends”

Friday, 16th April – Roy Smart: “Wallis Simpson and the Abdication Crisis of 1936 – the Year of Three Kings !”

Friday, 21st May – Barry Tomlinson: “RAE Bedford’s contribution to Concorde”

All of the above talks will start at 7.30pm.

Invitations to the Zoom sessions will be issued to all members prior to each talk. Anyone else who would like to listen in should email our Secretary, Dave Jarrett at secretary@colmworthhistory.org.uk
